On this page, I will be showing you how I spend my money and ways I find that will keep money in my pocket. Spending money on experiences is priceless. Having a budget when traveling is necessary but not always completely accurate.
I only spent 24 hours in Vienna, Austria, which is why this will be the shortest post.
I stayed at Zum Goldenen Kegel Hostel it was a fantastic place, that had heated floors, incredible staff, and a great atmosphere.
Since I am vegan, I eat out as little as possible unless it's a vegan restaurant, then you better believe I will be treating myself to some delicious food. So usually I will google two things before touch down in a new area, one search for a vegan restaurant nearby and two organic grocery stores.
Since I was only staying a day in Vienna I decided to only use WiFi, the train from the airport to the city center has free WiFi.
If you are the type of person who dislikes planning and wants a tour guide. There are amazing websites that allow travelers to connect with locals who volunteer their time to show you around their city.
Using transportation in Vienna, there are three methods, the train, buses, and trams. If this is your first time visiting Europe, they have a very different system when it comes to transportation. I am used to being in countries where using public transport is very strict about paying. In Europe, they use the trust method. There are no gates, no one making sure you paid. However, I am not telling you not to purchase a ticket because you will get fined if caught.
Please leave a comment below this is all so I can help others achieve their goals and be brave enough to go after their dreams. If there is anything you would like me to talk about or if this was helpful for you, let me know. I would greatly appreciate any feedback from you all.
